In over 20 years dining here there has never been anything that I experienced that was not spectacular! Food is locally sourced and perfectly prepared, the service impeccable.
Resort prices with a city vibe, inland so no ocean view (but it's all about the food). Waitstaff wear ties and the room is filled with the sounds of people enjoying themselves. I don't consider it a romantic spot, more of a place to have a celebration.
Four of us were there last night for about two hours. Shared two pupus (kalua pork quesadilla with kim chee and mango chili sauce and Kaua'i shrimp), had four entrees including the day's catch a wonderful opakapaka, coffees, dessert and about ten cocktails. I didn't see the bill but would guess about $ 400 before the tip.
