My wife and I decided to try this new restaurant which opened at the Shops at Mauna Lani. We arrived during happy hour so we sat at the small cozy bar. We love Asian food so we were really anxious to see if the restaurant would pass our taste test.
From the "8 for $8" menu we tried the honey, bourbon spare ribs. A good-sized portion that were very good, not too greasy with nice flavor. Also tried two appetizers, Szechuan eggplant--nice and spicy but a little too sweet. The Shanghai dumplings were also tasty but the dough a little tough.
We also tried the beef and broccoli entree. This was the real winner of the evening. For $15 there was an ample supply of tender sliced steak, perfectly cooked broccoli, and a nice flavorful sauce.
overall, a very positive dining experience. Anxious to return and try some of the other dishes on their menu.
