Lemongrass Cafe (Kailua-Kona) * * *   Posted by on Wednesday, 21 March 2018, at 8:50 a.m.

Had lunch at the Lemongrass Cafe a couple days ago. It is located in the little plaza across the street from the library. I guess I'd call it Thai fusion with a bar and some outside dining. Service is excellent, food fresh, plentiful and delicious. Vegan choices are available. There is no view other than parking lot and street. Restaurant is cozy but comfortable. Probably could be noisy when it is full. I had Pad Thai, my friend had a fried rice dish. The menu is huge plus there are lunch-only combos on the back of the menu. Everything seemed reasonably priced, about $10-18. My only complaint is parking. It can be a challenge. There are 4 other businesses in the same plaza. Maybe park in the farmers market area and walk across the street - please don't use the library parking lot. I've been there a few times and will return for lunch often.
