In response to 145281: Cataract surgery, posted by Laurel on Friday, 29 July 2022, at 11:55 a.m.

Oh, and did I mention, there is no pain involved, you are heavily sedated and monitored by a anesthesiologist, but it is short lived and unlike general surgery you recover rather quickly. The procedure only takes a few minutes and I just saw some flashes of light each time. Be sure to have a good supply of dark glasses for the first few weeks. You be seeing things you haven’t seen for awhile, like the kitchen floor needs scrubbing and your mate has a few more gray hairs than you remembered.
