Cataract surgery

My husband has been advised that his cataracts have advanced to the point that he would benefit from surgery. We are happy with our health care from Kaiser but are not eager to travel to Honolulu to have the surgery done there. Our primary care doctor mentioned that we could go "out of provider" if we really wanted to stay on island to have the surgery done. So the question, anybody have their cataract surgery done in Kona and any comments or recommendations? We may need to stick with our Kaiser health plan anyway, but just in case ...
