In response to 144863: Top 10 Things Not to Do on the Big Island (Updated), posted by Dennis on Saturday, 8 May 2021, at 5:20 p.m.

Good job Dennis. Your post reminded me of the old days when there were two forums - the Moving to and the Living on. Used to be posts there that were helpful and also very creative and funny and I regularly checked them for updates and entertainment. Not so much anymore. Seems to be now mostly a handyperson referral source - which is very helpful. There is always a lot of reaction to and excitement about whether the webcam works or not. Go figure.

Anyway, fun piece about our island. Just to add on I had a thought about why it seems everyone and their mother is compelled to back into parking spaces (after at least three attempts) - no one is in a hurry to get anywhere but they are always in a hurry to leave. Cheers!
