In response to 144839: Current covid requirements, posted by Peggy D on Tuesday, 27 April 2021, at 11:18 a.m.

Hi Peggy,

Here is my personal experience. I flew to Kona in March. I had to get a negative COVID test within 72 hours of traveling. They also did another rapid test upon arrival in Kona (no charge).
We wore our masks when we were in public. Most restaurants are open and you can take your mask off when seated. When we were on the beach or other outdoor locations, we did not wear a mask as long as we were distanced from others. I have a lanyard for my mask and I wear it around my neck so I could easily put it on and take it off when needed.
I hope this helps.
