flying into LAX current covid rules???

Does anyone who has travelled recently know the current requirements for entering LAX/LA County? (The rules have changed as of 4/12)

Because of a family medical issue I am flying into LAX and then driving north to the central valley without staying the night in LA County. I will be a week short of being fully vaccinated. I know I have to complete a safe travels form for LA county acknowledging I understand the current covid rules. And the website says you "must" quarantine for 10 days. But I can't find anything saying what I should do if I am NOT staying in LA County. Are we asked at LAX where we are staying/quarantining? Are we on the honor system about quarantining? Any info would be helpful.. Thanks. M.
