Splasher's gone - but not the memories

In response to 144543: end of Splasher's but some things don't end, posted by Harry A2 on Thursday, 29 October 2020, at 10:45 a.m.

I have been traveling to Kona since I was a wee lad, 45 years ago give or take. Long before Splasher's, that location was a restaurant called the "Kona Galley" and it was always our first dinner in Kona. I took a long break in there, and suspect it may have been at least one other restaurant between Galley And Splasher's. I will hold out hope that a new entrepreneur will seek their opportunity in that same space, and provide additional memories for many years to come!
