KONAWEB Forum members appreciate being kept apprised of current Big Island issues. There are definitely two primary approaches to reopening the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic. As it's been stated, "We're all in the same storm, but not in the same boat." Many of those who are at high risk for getting the virus, or who are caretakers for people who are, take a very different stance toward reopening than those who have lost their jobs, must feed a family and pay a mortgage or rent, have a car payment and have no Unemployment or Social Security payments coming in. Both situations are very scary.
Both sides have been represented now on the Forum, and I see no reason to continue this string. This is not a place to try to change people's minds.
