Are there guidelines/rules for posting here?
I've been a member here for many years (though not very prolific as a poster). I THOUGHT there were guidelines/rules about what to post, subjects to avoid, etc., but I'm not finding anything like that. Did they exist? Do they exist? Help?
Covid-19 is surely a HUGE issue, but with the most recent posts I've seen, it's also on it's way to being a divisive and hostile discussion here in very short order. So, now what?
I do not live on the island, and so I CAN (and most certainly will) stay home. No economy boost from me. But I have cousins of a similar age (we're all late 60's) living there. In a culture that is supposedly about respect and love for the elderly, it is shocking to me to see that their health and lives are considered expendable. Shall we proceed with this "discussion"? Talk about who most deserves to lose their lives to make things better for others? Or should this subject and others be halted now?
