In response to 144181: 14-day Quarantine Extended. . . . Thoughts?, posted by Kekepania on Thursday, 11 June 2020, at 5:33 a.m.
KONAWEB has posted its stance on this subject in the statement that appears at the top of every page on the site. We support the protocols that the governor has put in place to protect the island's safety in the long term, even though we have personally taken a big financial hit from them. His stance has paid off in a low number of COVID cases, but unfortunately, with unavoidable economic collateral damage. (It was/is very important for our limited healthcare services not to be overwhelmed by a large number of cases.) This is not an easy time for anyone. Those of you who choose to respond to Kekepania's post will need to monitor your emotions, and quote reliable sources for info. There will be no "flame wars" here. Aloha nui loa to all of you.
