14-day Quarantine Extended. . . . Thoughts?
I had a trip booked in June, but changed it to July. I found out yesterday that my July trip will not be happening and I’m a little sad. I was trying to stay hopeful that they would have a safe, effective travel plan in place for July. I understand the reasons for the quarantine and feel it’s important to keep the island safe, but I’m still bummed about my trip. I’m hoping Hawaiian will reschedule my trip for October. I work at a school and that’s the only time I’ll be able to travel and use my time-share for 2020.
I’m curious as to everyone’s thought about them extending the 14-day quarantine, especially those of you will live there. I’ve been reading comments online and it seems as though most residents are split 50/50 on the subject. Half are ready for tourism to open so they can get back to work, and the other half want to keep people away.
In keeping with the Aloha spirit I have always know Konaweb to have, what are your thoughts?
