Good news for Hawaii State. CV-19, And weather.
In response to 144131: New Zealand - great news re: virus!, posted by Harry A2 on Wednesday, 27 May 2020, at 3:07 p.m.
Fantastic news Harry Pritikin pointed out a few days ago, which I didn’t know. And of course I know the numbers will fluctuate at least for a while. But I just checked and today STILL Hawaii is third from last on list of American states ranked by number of cases with Covid-19 virus.
We have friends in Peru, Germany, the Mainland, who almost daily tell us, “You’re so lucky to be living in Hawaii, especially now!” (In Lima, Peru seniors are not allowed to go shopping, only younger people; and the lockdown is far more strict and onerous than here. I read that in smaller towns in Ecuador, people have been burning the corpses because nobody comes to take them away.) I feel compassion, and even more happy/grateful for where I am. (Especially this weekend.)
Also - I’m really enjoying the cool breezes and the relatively cool weather, and the rain which seems to fall more often and more of it - than I’ve ever seen it rain in Kona. Midday here today Sunday and I went to the window and felt the COOOOOOL breeze coming in from the ocean. I wonder if this is typical May weather for Kona. Either way I love it. Every day.
Through Kona Town cool breezes blow,
