In response to 144101: Moving to Kona June 24. :/, posted by Steve KB on Wednesday, 20 May 2020, at 3:18 p.m.

Some places are opening here in Kona, first week in June. Man at Gertrude's Jazz Club told me he's been working there for 2 days, they're gonna open June 3 or 4. I suppose there will be lots of restrictions, I don't know how they're gonna do it.
At least one other place I hear is gonna open that week in June - observing all limitations the Gov't. will be issuing. Taking all workers' temperature when they come to work, etc.
Also I lately see the chains and "No Trespassing" signs have been removed at Kona Village. One shop had dresses displayed outside.
I didn't inquire but I have seen things happening at Kona Inn lately. Lot of cleaning machines out.
We'll see what happens. Myself, I still observe the distance rules, wear masks. I do notice that a lot of essential workers in shops & stores don't seem concerned with the distance. I try to keep away from them anyway.
