In response to 144070: Many, many have not been tested, posted by Shirley on Wednesday, 13 May 2020, at 12:24 p.m.
I'm not sure that everyone who wants to get tested for the virus is able to. Are the CDC guidelines still being followed: people with symptoms or close contacts of people who have tested positive? That leaves the possibility that there are many asymptomatic carriers.
Josh Green said that Hawaii Pacific Health tested 2600 of their health care workers for Covid antibodies and only 0.48% were positive. If the antibodies are providing immunity, that's a very small number of those tested who possibly have immunity.
