Great experience at the "new" Keauhou Market last week

We participated last week (their first) and it everything went off without a hitch from our perspective. You need to sign up – use Shirley’s link in her response above. Then you can pick out what you want from the participating vendors/farmers. There is a picture of each group/family so you can identify them either by the name of the farm (which if you are like me, you may not have noticed) or by the picture of the person/people who serve you at the market each week.

Yes there are only so many options so your exact amount or selection may not be there, but I think they did a great job of having options. Once an item is considered no longer available, it will be greyed out so you cannot order it.

The pickup itself was easy. Note, the location is on the mauka side of Highway 11. They suggest you do not go early or at the exact minute it opens to avoid congestion. We went about 45 minutes before it closed and we drove right in, gave them our number provided on the confirmation when we pre-paid online (required) and a nice lady put the brown paper bag of items into our back seat.

It is a great way to support our local farmers during this time of social distancing!

Mary Beth
