Christmas- just one wish
Does everyone remember when we were little kids all bright eyed and bushy tailed? Summer lasted about 10 minutes. The school year lasted FOREVER. Christmas, well Christmas, was almost an inconceivable distance in the future. It was the time stamp of my childhood. Now 7 decades later, I went to sleep one night, woke up and my children and grandchildren are grown and gone and Christmas keeps rolling around faster and faster. I only really have one wish left. Just one. Before I die I want to hear one of my children/grandchildren say "I got this check dad/gpa"!
