In response to 143643: Vog history, posted by Sally ME on Saturday, 16 November 2019, at 6:19 a.m.

Aloha Sally,

Just addressing the most recent eruptions, not addressing anything prior to 1983, there has been vog of varying thickness on and off up to the end of the eruption cycle in 2018. There would be light days and heavy days and, when the trade-winds stopped, we would have completely clear days; sometimes up to two weeks and maybe three or four times a year. But since September of 2018 it's been clear as a bell just like the old days; you know, the 70's. I really marvel at how clear and crisp the skies are now. And the way Hualalai Mountain jumps out at you when there's no clouds; it's like 3-D.

Mahalo, Harry

   Δ Thank you.
