Using a blower on coquis?

Aloha. I recall reading here a while ago that someone had MacGyver-ed a blower that would facilitate the spreading of the substance that we dare not name but starts with an L... in the fight against coquis. I didn't copy that information thinking I didn't need it... but here we are... :-)

Does anyone have that information? If I recall, it was a blower of some sort that could blow l**e over a large swath... Mahalo for any help!
