Veteran Termite & Justice Termite
In response to 143036: Termite tenting, posted by Rich E2 on Wednesday, 16 January 2019, at 10:43 a.m.
I've worked on several transactions recently that needed termite tenting and/or spot treatments. Many companies are booked out 2-3 months right now. Veteran Termite and Justice Termite do serve that area and so far have had the quickest availability (we've been fortunate to get in in about a month on a couple of listings). Maybe your friend can contact them for a quote and availability.
I know someone mentioned Mason Termite, they are already booking March and April now. Yvette might be able to get them on a wait list though should someone need to cancel.
Some transactions will require a clean TIR or call for tenting to be done prior to closing (VA loans for instance). If a buyer has any financing, this might be a lender requirement so they should check with their lending institution.
This is addressed in section L of the purchase contract. IMHO, I would get it done sooner than later. I wouldn't want the damage to get any worse which could become more of a negotiating factor again later. Plus, usually when you get the tenting done, there is a transferable warranty (I have seen 2-4 years on average) that can often be passed along to the buyer. This way too, it may be less likely to fall out of escrow on this contingency.
Hope this helps.
