Re: Neither Side Should Exaggerate

How dare any of you on either side of the coin from either the real estate agent or the spouse of Our Lady of the Tennis Visor, for the sake of argument, beat your chests with exaggeration of who is correct about what is going on here for the sake of being right. Please let us all know how that affects the people who have lost their homes or are suffering far worse a fate than the vog at unhealthy levels here in Kona. To put things in perspective, the same vog here in Kona is what people in LA are subject to on warm summer days when SMOG levels are high. While Kona has experienced two days of 151 and 153 in red alert territory and some people may have experienced watery eyes, chest congestion, and some tiredness or breathing challenges, it pales in comparison to people who have lost their homes, valuables, and family memories and must now rebuild their lives. After 25 years of practicing medicine on the mainland, I have never seen such entitlement to perspective to prove a point while minimizing the challenges of those people who really have to rebuild their lives and could probably care less about who is right or wrong about the level of vog here in Kona.
