One of the tour guides we had recommended this place. It is a nice little place for malasadas. If you don't know what these are, they are square Portuguese pastries. They will fill them with whatever filling they have for the day. They are served warm with granulated sugar on the outside. They are fantastic, and well worth the drive, even from Kailua-Kona, about 90 minutes. We also had their omelets and hash browns. Very reasonably priced and very big portions. Again, this place is crowded, but not with tourists as much as it is the residents. It is counter service, so nothing fancy, but they do have tables inside and out to enjoy their food and the incredible views of the ocean.
