Tommy Bahama's is off in a almost deserted shopping place on Mauna Lani drive. It should not be overlooked as the food is wonderful and our server, Mary was awesome, with just the right amount of attention and friendliness. The prices are a bit steep for a causual meal, entrees start around $30, unless you go with their tasting menu. The tasting menu allows you to choose 2 appetizers, an entre and desert for either $34 or $39. The portion sizes are smaller than their full priced menu, but you still come away from dinner very full! The price for 3 of us came to $165.00, which included mixed drinks. I had the coconut shrimp/mac nut goat cheese appetizers, shrimp & scallops in a coconut curry sauce (best scallops I've had in a long time) and their famous pina colada cake. All was delicious. The other two people in my party had different combinations from their tasting menu and were very satisfied. I know it is a chain, but they do a delicious job! |
