Like Trisha B2, I have unfortuately found the service at Don's (the resturant side) to be less than acceptable and probably wont go back for a meal there anytime soon. We had a very similar experience to Trisha's. The bar side is a different story however. They do seem to have plenty of help in the bar and the setting is probably the best in Kona. The serve reduced price pupu's during happy hour so you get the same food as the resturant but without the long wait, being ignored, etc. Let's hope that the management at Don's reads this and will step the service up several notches. In the meantime, have a drink at Don's then go next door to Huggo's for dinner. |
