Shirley and I stopped by Patz Pies - located where Chris Bakery used to be in Kealakekua across from the bright orange antique store... He does everything "to go", although you can sit at a little table next to the road if you don't have any place else to go. Pat is a friendly young man who obviously knows pizza. Every time we have a slice we are convinced that he learned from a real master. Pat made us 2 slices of a delicious white pie with veggies and a delightful crispy crust. He threw in a very large fresh salad with artichoke hearts, feta, olives, green peppers, and mushrooms and charged us $11. I don't have to say more. For the price, and the quality of the food, Pat deserves a great big Mahalo! Aloha,
