We found this gem after watching the lava flows entering the ocean after dark. We made it in just before closing (9PM) and they couldn't have been more helpful. We were not rushed at all. We had two kids with us and although they don't have a Keiki menu they offered us small portions of the adult meals for the kids - although they were so hungry they ordered full-size meals. Kona Brewing Co beer on tap - what a welcome after a day hiking the volcano! My wife had one of the best Mojitos she has ordered. Food selection was varied and we ordered a selection of fish, steak and Kalua pork dishes between us. Live music ended at 9, but was good while it lasted. Restaurant was clean, lively and quite full, even at 9PM. Dinner for the 4 of us, with plenty of drinks, was about $110 and we all agreed we had a great meal. Will definitely put it on my list to visit again next time we are in the Kalapana area |
