Traditional Styles

I make four distinct sizes of tradionally shaped `ukulele, the Standard (or Soprano), the Concert, the Tenor, and the Baritone.. All except the Baritone which is generally tuned like the first four strings of a guitar, are usually tuned the same, GCAE, The G is tradionally a high string but can be changed to a "low G" on any size.. The Tenor can be set up in the older tuning DGBE with either a high or low D.. I also make a 16 in. scale Concert, with a string length between a usual Concert and a Tenor.

Island Jazz `Ukulele

Inspired by a body shape designed by the great Mario Maccaferri for Selmer in the early 1930's, I offer several models, primarily for fingerstyle playing.
