Price List for `Ukulele & Guitars All my instruments are made individually and are "Custom" in a very real way. The prices shown here are for instruments made to your specifications, but do not reflect any special inlay. Occasionally a wood choice, such as Brazilian Rosewood, will add to the cost as will custom peghead or fingerboard inlay. I have not included Cases or Pick-up systems because there are many styles of each to choose from. Every instrument is constructed in the same way, a basic Ho`okahiko style Tenor `Ukulele is made with the same care and quality of materials as a more expensive Custom Inlaid Ano Hou version. One is not better than the other, but they are different, and I encourage my customers to decide for themselves what their personal preference might be. `Ukulele Ho`okahiko (Old Style): a simple, traditional looking instrument - no binding, rosette of your choice, satin lacquer finish, Available in all Koa or all Mango in some `Ukulele styles. Ano Hou (Modern Style): Bound top and back, rosette of your choice, gloss lacquer finish, (satin finish available). All Koa or all Mango plus a wide variety of combinations of back and side woods matched with Spruce or other tone wood top. (Koa and Adirondack spruce, Rosewood and Sinker Redwood, etc. There are many excellent choices depending on the sound you are looking for.)
