There is a keiki hula performance at 6pm Fridays at Keauhou Shopping Center, I think there are 4 halau and they rotate Fridays. Get there early to assure seats during holiday time. Might be a different schedule and additional events during the holidays, too. Ukulele jam session, a kanikapila, is at 6pm on Wednesdays. Yes there is a fresh fish vender at the Keauhou Saturday market. Sometimes he sells out, get there early. We buy our weekly supply of vegetables at Keauhou. There is a farmers market, with crafts and other items, on Sundays in Capt. Cook mauka of the Manago Hotel. This market is more eclectic and less structured than the Keauhou market. Look for the potter who makes ceramic holders for dish/sink sponges and other useful items like her mosquito punk holder.
