Honeymoon in Kona

Congratulations to both of you! My vote is to spend your time in and around Kona. I agree with taking the Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour - the full tour, if you can afford it, is incredible. Also, a day at the volcano means starting very early and staying late - a very long day, but absolutely worth it. Finally, make sure you get in the water! We've taken the Fair Winds II snorkel tour. They have a good educational component, feed you, and provide the snorkel equipment, so no need to rent it separately for one day. Sorry, my itinerary doesn't take you to the Hilo side, so you'll have to come back!
