My Suggested Restaurants
In response to 40635: Mauna Kea Clambake opinions/other recommendations?, posted by Kathy B on Saturday, 31 October 2009, at 4:08 p.m.
I'm not big on buffets and I've never been to the Mauna Kea Resort's Clambake, but the new Manta Restaurant at the Mauna Kea has really great food and a lovely setting overlooking the ocean (pretty much right next to where they have their clambake). I would definitely opt for the Manta or my other favorite restaurant at the Four Seasons Hualalai--Pahui'a, which is right off the beach.
