Why am I having trouble posting or mailing?

If you just signed up, we may not have gotten you signed up yet. You will receive an email from us confirming that you are a member. If you were a member but don't see yourself in the list to the right, keep reading...

I have posted before, but I don't see my Membername. Why?
About once a quarter we send out a brief email to all members of the KONAWEB Forums. It includes your Membername and Password, plus the email address you listed as using. If this email address is old, or bounces for some other reason, we remove your record. If you have Email Filters, make sure you are accepting email from both: konaweb.com and hawaii.rr.com You may then simply sign back up.

It rarely happens, but if you have recently posted material that we felt was either: advertising, mean, angry, lewd, rude, or crude, you may have been removed from the forums. Click Here.

I am signed up, I know my Membername and Password but I still can't post!

You have 'cookie trouble'. KONAWEB Forums use tiny files called cookies to remember which Forum posts you have already read. They also remember your Membername so they can welcome you back to the Forums. These files are stored in your web browser. If you have typed your Membername incorrectly, (with an extra space at the end, for example), your cookie is remembering the wrong Membername, and you will need to type over the existing name to set things right. If this still does not correct the problem you will have to delete your KONAWEB cookies and then go back to the Forum and post something using the correct Membername and Password. Note: Once you delete or retype your cookie, all posts on the Forum will be marked 'NEW'.
