Info about the kanikapila at Kaloko Visitors Center
In response to 141820: Kanikapila at Kaloko-Honokohau Visitors' Center, posted by Michou W on Wednesday, 7 March 2018, at 10:46 a.m.
These are Teri Stewart's recommendation (she helps lead the kanikapila): The park provides chairs, but depending on player's skill levels, they may want to bring music stands and iPads or music books such as "He Mele Aloha," which is a great source for Hawaiian music and is sometimes available for sale at the park or Costco. Otherwise, just look over someone's shoulder or play by ear and/or memory. From 1-3pm is the best time to join in.
