In response to 141617: Moving back to mainland help?????, posted by John G2 on Tuesday, 9 January 2018, at 6:15 p.m.

We had the same situation when we moved to North San Diego a couple of years ago. I found a local mover who stored his trucks in a storage facility that also rented RV storage parking. The mover had two RV spaces back to back. He let us use his spaces to have the container dropped at the storage facility. The mover then backed their trucks up to the 40 foot container and unloaded then delivered to our new home. We had a packed container and the mover charged us $2,000 which was a fair price for the service and number of man hours. Our movers were exhausted by mid afternoon unloading into our home since they had already moved everything once earlier in the day.
