Cable TV alternatives
In response to 141526: Cable TV alternatives, posted by TimnChristine M on Saturday, 16 December 2017, at 12:54 p.m.
We just cut the cord, with a Roku box. You can add channels to it, many are free, Hawaii PBS, news channels, Netflix, Amazon music and Prime movies. Saving over Spectrum (lots). Sling for TV and added sports. The bill was $230 a month with two cable boxes. Now $43 for Sling and a second DSL for $9.99 a month.
Works well and seems less clunky over the two remotes with cable.
There is even a roku sideclick that is a universal remote that hangs into the Roku remote so only one remote.
You can add apps like web browsers and do Internet on the big screen!
Δ like sucking water through a really small straw...
