Thanks for the info, Kevin and Mark. Based on that, I'll stay with Dish Network. What I'm really waiting for is Hawaiian Telcom to run fiber to my house, like I hear they are doing for sections of Ocean View. I'd jump on their phone/TV/internet package. It would be way cheaper than my Dish Network plus Hawaiian Telcom land line and DSL, from which I get a max speed of 6.4 mbps.

Besides, I'm hooked on HDTV, anyway. Unless I'm wrong, that doesn't come over the airwaves to an antenna technology dating back to the early 20th century...certainly not from the distances we're talking about.
