Here’s what you need.

You will need a rooftop or tower-mounted “yagi” antenna pointed at Maui. With that, you should receive all major networks and PBS that are broadcast there, their subchannels, as well as a local channel. We lived a few hundred feet lower elevation than, but nearby, Palani Junction a few years back and had fine performance from that arrangement. It was an older antenna, but even those are designed fine for today’s digital broadcasts. The key is in what was the “UHF” elements (VHF frequencies are no longer part of commercial TV broadcast.) The commonly available window or set-top digital antennas are good in an urban environment close to transmitters, but not on the BI.
