Vog and smoke detectors

I would say do your own research. What you will find is that there is little proof that long term exposure to Vog will have a negative impact on your health and certainly much less harm than the smog over much of the mainland. Remember that there has been active volcanos and therefore Vog on the BI for thousands of years, and yet people have lived good lives. There is a tendency for some to blame every health issue on Vog. I will say though that Vog does seem to reduce battery life!
