No Crystal Ball

Sorry to hear you bought at the height of the market. Market trends usually follow a 10 year cycle, but ever since 9/11 the cycles have been all screwed up. Like you said, no one has a crystal ball. It's impossible to answer your questions. If anyone tries, their answers could be proven right or wrong over time. There's a lot of uncertainty in the world right now. If Korea nukes Pearl Harbor, for sure prices will go down. If Trump is impeached prices could go up OR down; who knows? The stock market is at it's highest level ever. If it crashes real estate will go up as people will be moving into more stable investments. The best advice I can give you is to do what you need to do, when you need to do it, and forget about trying to predict the future. Make your decision and then don't look back. Be sure and take into consideration the amount of money you are spending on property taxes and the amount of money you are losing by not investing in something more profitable than raw land. (BTW, I think Discovery Harbour is a GREAT neighborhood!!)
