a little more about Global Entry and the KTN
In response to 141220: Yup Global entry has to be best..., posted by Ronald HM on Friday, 11 August 2017, at 8:19 p.m.
Just to tack on to this post.
When you get your KTN (Known traveler number) be sure to enter it into all of your airline profiles. Then, when you make a reservation, be sure the KTN is entered there as well. Most of the time it will transfer from your profile.
And just showing the Global Entry card doesn't always work. It didn't for my daughter. Without the TSA Precheck printed on her boarding pass, even with the Global Entry card, she was not allowed through the Precheck line in Albuquerque.
