In response to 140728: HELCO lines and trees, posted by Henry W on Sunday, 12 March 2017, at 5:05 a.m.

Not sure how it works here but I have seen the trimming of trees that overhang the power lines. They also send out helicopters to find places that need work so I doubt that they will make you do the work. If you are worried about it on your property I would call them and ask. I suppose you could do that anonymously if you are concerned about paying and want to wait.
